Guitarist, Composer & Educator
Joe Landi is a Long Island, NY based guitarist, composer, and educator with over a decade’s worth of experience performing, teaching, and composing music. He has made appearances as a performer at the Classical Guitar Society of Upstate New York’s Fall Festival, the Mid-Hudson Classical Guitar Society, and the Guitar Foundation of America’s New York City Regional Symposium.
His compositions have been performed both internationally and domestically by many impressive ensembles, such as the Random Access Music String Quartet, the Curiosity Cabinet Chamber Orchestra, and the Cobalt Saxophone Quartet. Writing in a mostly tonal and quasi neo-Romantic style, he attempts to blend some of his most prominent influences – namely Bartok and Debussy – into his own unique style.
Educating others in Music is one of Joe’s main passions, and he enjoys a robust studio of students that he mentors in the ways of music theory, composition, and guitar performance.
With an intense passion for video game music, Joe can also be found on his YouTube channel performing his own solo guitar arrangements of some of his favorite works from the “repertoire.”
